Resiliency, Confidence & Connection 

Empower Me facilitates a fun, supportive space just for high school girls! Our skills group helps teen girls build confidence, make friends, and learn social–emotional skills that really matter like handling stress, communicating clearly, managing friendships, and making smart decisions. 

Through interactive discussions, skill-building and self-reflection activities teen girls will practice social-emotional skills while connecting with peers who get what they’re going through. It’s a safe, welcoming space where learning is hands-on, friendships grow, and girls leave feeling empowered and ready to take on life’s challenges.

• Online group sessions for (55 minutes) guided By Dr. Gould 

• Fun discussions, group learning games  & self-reflection arts activities

• Connecting with new friends in the USA and globally

• Groups formed by age/grade:  9-12 grade girls ages 14-18 years 

• Sessions are developmentally appropriate, culturally responsive and girl centered

• In-person groups local to South Florida (Where Our Office is Located)

What Girls Will Learn:  Confidence, Self-Awareness, Goal setting, Decision Making, Emotion Management, Calming Techniques, Coping Skills, Conflict Resolution, Diversity & Inclusion, Communication Skills, Inclusion & Empathy, Body Image & Body Positivity, Being an Up-stander, Bullying Behavior & Prevention, Social Media Navigation, Friendships & Cliques, Healthy Relationships & Abuse Prevention, Coping Skills & Resiliency etc.
