Making Friends & Learning Skills
Empower Me facilitates fun and supportive empowerment groups for elementary-age girls to make friends, build confidence, and learn important social-emotional skills through interactive discussions, art, and fun activities. From understanding feelings, building confidence to handling friendship ups and downs, girls gain skills & support in a safe space where they feel seen, heard, and empowered.
Online group Sessions for (30-45 minutes depending on age) guided By Dr. Gould
Fun discussions, group learning games & self-reflection art activities
Connecting with new friends in the USA and globally
Groups formed by age/grade (5-6 years, K & 1st Grade, 7-9 years , 2nd & 3rd grade) & (10-11 years, 4th & 5th grade)
Sessions are developmentally appropriate, trauma-informed, culturally responsive and girl-centered
In-person groups available if local to South Florida (Where Our Office is Located)
What Girls Will Learn : Self-awareness & Confidence, Friendships & Healthy Peer Relationships, Kindness & Compassion, Decision-Making & Responsibility, Coping Skills & Resilience, Bullying, Goal setting, Body Positivity, Navigating Peer Pressure, Inclusion & Empathy, Emotional Regulation etc.
